Three Injured, Backup On I-93 North In Woburn Following Multi-Car Crash

Three people were taken to area hospitals following a multi-car crash in the Boston area this week, authorities said.

Massachusetts State Troopers responded to the crash on I-93 North in Woburn on Monday evening, June 5, State Police said on Twitter.

The crash caused all travel lanes to close down, causing a near nine-mile backup. Traffic was only getting through in the breakdown lane as a result, police said.

The severity of the victims' injuries was unspecified.
